    Hey..there,

I just use HDV split for capturing HD footage. It actually works quite well and is much cheaper than cineform, and the audio remains in synch.

Anyways, sometimes when importing video it doesn’t conform. Instead, I just get that “Media Pending” message. I’ve waited like an hour before and still doesn’t come.

    thanks!

    Allrighty then,

    thanks for helping out.

I use a PC on XP.

The video file captures as a “M2T” file. It’s new to me, but it works quite well. Here’s the guy’s download page:

Video programs like AFX and Premiere Pro will show you in their dialogue box when you are “adding file”, and afterwards it will usually say “conforming video file”. It seems to be preparing for use in AFX. Usually afterwards the video image will appear.

I’m just not sure why it would recognize some of the same files and then occasionally not bigger ones. I realize bigger ones are longer to conform. But the other day I waited an hour, as though it skipped the conforming part. With a bit of fiddling it works. Just wondered if anybody had some knowledge or secret keys to fix those kind of issues easier.
