With ProMax going out of business, where do independent or non_IT people go to get a sure fire way to have a complete edit bay with the correct or optimal settings? With so many third party pieces of hardware and software way beyond the platform used to edit, its difficult. Any other companies out there that can take your workflow and help create an efficient and sufficient edit bay?

    Thanks,

    Greg

Well, based on personal experience, Lyn Norstad (a COW moderator here) is a great VAR, though his operation is not as big or diverse as Promax was. But of the things he DOES sell, he knows what he sells very well, and we always had great customer service from him, very personal, accessible, and responsive. Now if only he worked with FCP…..:-)

OK Lyn, where’s that free pizza?:-) (just kidding, but not about his good service)

Chicago is a great resource for VARs. Let me add Midwest Media Group. They are large and very knowledgeable.
