  motion tracking

  Just a quick one if anyone knows but I’m doing a project with a lot of motion tracking and although I’ve no real gripes about the built in motion tracking software within After Effects CS3 pro I notice it asks me in the Options bit which tracking plug-in I want to use.

  Are there any others out there?

  It’s there in case someone wants to step up to the plate to create and integrate a motion tracker into After Effects. To my knowledge, no-one’s done that yet.

  As you’re probably aware, there are several dedicated motion tracker applications that export data to be used in After Effects. But none that will pop up in that dropdown list, so don’t sweat it.

  Nice one, thanks Ben, yes, I had a suspicion that was the case. Like I said, the motion tracking in there’s pretty ace anyway.
