  anchor tag in cdata string

  I have been searching all over for this but to no avail…

  How can I, if possible, access the anchor tag from a cdata string in my xml code? For example:

  <![CDATA[Click here to view the video.]]>

  Where this xml code is for my flash news reader on my main page so that when this item appears and you click on the link it will take me to that anchor tag located further down on the “portfolio” page. It only takes me to the page and seems that the “#” tag is not being read. Is there a way to do this?
