  displaying an image behind a paragraph text

  hello,
  i want to display an image behind an absolutely positioned paragraph text, but i’m not sure if i should set a positive z-index or negative x-index for the image..

  any advice is much appreciated!!!

  Can’t you simply use your image as a background image of the paragraph? Do that using CSS.
