    Hi everyone;

    I made a layout for my website in Photoshop. I was watching a tutorial that said I should slice up the photo, export it as html and images, and import it into Dreamweaver as html. In the tutorial I was watching, they would delete a “chunk” of the photo where they would want to add any text, etc.

    However I’m finding that when I go to add content and links that all of the slices are getting “pushed around”. Is there anyway to “lock down” the slices? Or, any way to put content on top of the image without slicing and removing?

    You can create an AP div in Dreamweaver and there place your text over your Photoshop site.

    Insert > Layout Objects > AP div

    This will draw a square. Place your content inside and reposition it.
