On certain sites i have noticed that regardless of browser window size the menus are top/bottom aligned even though the content in the centre stays the same size and in a central position. How is this accomplished? I can scale everything to move with the browser but not certain elements, I have experience with Flex and it seems to function like containers do in there.

    Thanks Karl

There are various methods to do this. One way to do this is using absolute positioning. Absolute positioning allows you to set the position of certain elements not based on the position of other elements on the page. So they could be forced to align to the right side of the browser or the left on scaling.

    For example:

Would set the position of this content to the top right of the screen.
