  HTML Based Newsletter

  I would like to learn how to create an HTML based newsletter that can complement our company’s printed newsletter. I have looked on Amazon but all the books seem oriented at direct sales and marketing for obvious reasons. I am more interested in controlling the look of our emails to our clients.

  Some of the basic pointers are
  – no javascript
  – smaller width than the web site (~700px max wide)
  – single column format
  – use tables primarily instead of css
  – all links need to be absolute
  – use same styling as your regular site for familiarity
