  Airport Range

  I took an Airport card from my iBook g3 and put it in a G4 Mirror Door 867 machine. The machine can see my router that is close by, but cannot see other networks that should be in range. (The iBook COULD see these other networks). Is there something I’m missing here, or a way to amp up the signal for the G4?

  Antenna was not plugged in….doh

  New question… is there a way to use a computer as a base station?

  Yeah, it’s in the airport software somewhere. Never done it though.
