Could I draw upon the collective wisdom of the list members for
direction or suggestions in regard to the conversion of a large
(20k+) Lotus Notes to other databases and formats which would be
place online as an intranet, and an internet site.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Cheers,

    hello…

depends on your platform, traffic levels and budget, really – the open source db solutions are mysql and postgresql. you can also use oracle, mssql or (shudder) access if need be (the latter two only on windows, naturally)…

if you’re on a budget, mysql is a spiffy solution – never used this, but these people seem to be offering a convertor from lotus to mysql:

in general, if you want to give mysql a try, then i’d recommend googling up some keywords like lotus, mysql and convert to get other options – the mysql world has a lot of people who write a lot of tools…

    hope that helps!
