    Hi,
I am creating a website with a photo gallery. The images are displayed as thumbnails which users can click to view the larger image. These large images are still small files at 72dpi and around 300 x 400 pixels for faster viewing. However, I am considering allowing users to download the images to print. What is the minimum resolution for print quality images? I still need the file size to be as small as possible.
    Thanks.

    hello…

you can print a 72dpi image ok – but if you want them to have a nicer high quality image then you should look in the 200-300 dpi range…
