  Boris RED: maximum text length ?

  Yep, still using RED 5.6….
  I have a text track and pasted a very long string of text, meant to crawl for about 2 minutes.
  Apparently the text box will truncate at a specific length corresponding to about ‘9200’ on the built-in ruler.
  Is that a hard limit or am I missing a feature ?
  How to circumvent for my long crawling text ?

  Hi there,

  Yep, I believe you’ve encountered a limitation in RED but not to worry – you can use multiple text pages to get around the problem. So paste as much as you can onto a single page, then paste the rest onto additional pages. The Title Crawl automation should seamlessly join the text pages into the title animation.
