I’m after an effect in which a still image is quickly and violently covered in black splotches, till the entire screen is totally black.

I thought I had something close to that when using BCC Blobs Wipe, but then realized that what I was seeing in video preview was quite different when rendered to video —- and that was because my video preview was in Draft Mode. The rendered video, which shows ‘oozing’ blobs rather than ‘splotches’, is NOT what I was after.

Would anyone out there know of a BCC (or Vegas) effect that might be closer to what I’m after?

Thanks, in advance, for any tips!

I can’t immediately reproduce the problem by flipping resolutions in AE (not running Vegas), but I’ll ask our QA team to see if they can spot something. I assume you are running the effect in default setting.
