  Advice on this problem please…

  I am trying to emulate a video intro using this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orQJf58e8C0

  I am using Corel Videostudio Pro X6 to make the video. I follow the instructions exactly but the result gives me 2 problems. The background does not disappear and sections of the globe are missing. Please see the photos:

  I place a blank colour clip in the video track and a png photo called earth land in the overlay track.
  Any advice would be very welcome.
