Here’s an elementary question I don’t seem to be able to solve: after installing the complete set of Boris FX, I am unable to find any of the AE plugs in AE …! Is there a step I’m missing, or shouldn’t the installation process have taken care of putting them into CS6 where they should show up under Effects & Presets?

    Thanks for your patience …

    Hi Jason,

Sounds like you might need a little assistance from one of our support techs – you can reach them via email at support@borisfx.com.

The product installer should indeed have placed the filters in the MediaCore folder for After Effects CS6 – do you have AE installed on a non-system drive, i.e., not on the C drive? Are you using the most recent installer from our web site? Exactly what product and version are you trying to install?

    Cheers,

    Peter.

Sorry – should have closed this earlier today when I heard from Boris. It turns out the version that shipped with my box set was pre-CS6, so of course, CS6 didn’t see it! All’s well – thanks!
