  Is RED5 colour picker blind under LION?

  Just upgraded to Lion 10.7.2. Using Media100 Suite 2.1 and RED 5.0.7.

  I’m trying to use a keyer in RED5. When I select the colour picker and run it over the area that I’m interested in, I get random colours that don’t match the image.

  I tried a colour track and using it’s colour picker to see if picking options elsewhere were affected or just in the keying filters. Same problem, random colours. Same result when I tried the tritone filter.

  Has anyone else experienced this with Lion? Is there a fix?

  BTW, installing Lion did fix the missing fonts problem that I had with Snow Leopard.

  Hi,

  The issue that you have encountered has already been identified and addressed by our engineers and will be included with the next update to RED 5, which we are currently testing in our labs. We expect to release this free update shortly – perhaps as soon as early next week.

  I see a RED 5.1.2 for Mac update on the Boris website. Can that be used with Media100 Suite too or only premiere?
