  3-way color corrector failure

  I am working with RED5 (5.0.4.97, installation file RED5WinESDx64Step3).

  When I add the new 3way color corrector effect, after a while a lot of error messages appear stating that Boris can’t find the settings file (see picture). This happens both in Vegas 10d, Vegas 10e and After Effects CS5. It happens with any project, no matter how big or how small the project is.
  Is there any solution for this problem?

  Installation of RED5.0.5 is not an option since this gives again the error 1926 message, which previously also occured with RED5.0.4 (see here:

  Theo,

  It sounds like you have an installation problem. I do not think it is specific to a RED 5 version number. I suggest that you contact our support lines at 888-77-BORIS or email at support@borisfx.com and allow our support specialists help you re-install RED 5.05 – our latest update.
