As usual, more crashing with using the 3D object filters, especially the 3D text.
If I start a project from scratch and create a 3d text, it’s fine for that session.
But when I close it and then reopen the project, that’s when it crashes AE.
I also get multiple popups asking me if I want use opengl or not especially when I go to render.
I am on the 7.0.6 trial version and I’m obviously not going to pay for this until it’s stable.
Please fix this once and for all.

So that you’ll know it’s not my machines,

    Both are on Win7 x64

    Computer #1 –

Core i7 quad core with hyperthreading
    24 gb of ram
gtx 480 video card – latest drivers
    highend asus motherboard
    Etc.

    Computer #2 –
    Core 2 quad core
    8 gb of ram
gtx 275 video card – latest drivers
    highend asus motherboard
    Etc.

    Hi Mark,

Can you please get in touch with our support department – they would be more than happy to assist you in working to create a more stabile environment for the BCC filters. You can reach them via email at support@borisfx.com.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

    Thanks for replying.

I will get in touch with the support department as soon as I can make the time.

Meanwhile, please know that both my systems are very solid, lean installs of Win 7 x64 with all of the eyecandy turned off as well as virtually every concievable background process including Windows Search, indexing, and when running the software, I disable my antivirus.

So unless there is a conflict with some other installed program that I’m not aware of then I don’t see how it can any part of my system.

    Regards.
