    Hi all,

I have BCC7 Lens Flare fx over a clip in Sony Vegas 10c. 64bit.

Clip is about 10 seconds long ( in a 3 min project ), I have used the animate function to track the ‘Light Source’, ‘Pivot Point’ and ‘Mix with Original’.
This all looks perfect in the Vegas preview, as in, what I see in the preview window when played is how I have set the keyframes. But, when this section is rendered the BCC fx bears no resemblance to what is seen in the preview. It looks like the FX timing might be out, maybe coming in early.

Surely the render should match the preview. It does if I use the Vegas Lens Flare effect instead!

Anyone know what I may be doing wrong?
Or maybe some settings somewhere in BorisCC which affect timing?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hi Marcus,

The first thing to ensure is that you are using the latest version of Sony Vegas (10c) and the latest version of BCC OFX 7.0.4. If your software is up to date and you are still seeing this issue then I’d like to ask you to get in touch with our support department so that someone there can work with you to understand and hopefully resolve the issue. You can reach them via email at support@borisfx.com.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
