boris continuum 3.01 with AE in CS5
Posted by Craig Herron on December 7, 2010 at 10:33 pmAE in CS5 doesn’t seem to see my Boris Continuum 3.01 plugins. Has anybody made them work?

December 7, 2010 at 11:24 pmYes, we made them work but BCC 3 is 4 versions behind. BCC is at version 7 now.

December 8, 2010 at 5:07 pmI would love to get the new continuum 7 but don’t have the funds at the moment. But would love to get 3.0.1 working on my new iMac with AE CS5 to finish a project. Is there a way to get AE CS5 to recognize the older plug ins?

December 8, 2010 at 5:54 pmUnfortunately not. BCC3 was a 32 bit product. CS5 on the other hand, requires 64 bit plugs. There is no way it is going to recognize old plugins. The same is true for every plugin package out there. The best I can suggest is to pull down a trial version of BCC7. It’s free and full functioning for 15 days. It should be enough for a quick project. Good luck.
