I want to stabilize a clip on my Premiere Pro CS4 timeline with BCC Optical Stabilizer 6.06.

I’ve read the PDF tutorial and watched the Boris tutorial video related to this filter, but certain parameters remain confusing to me. To stabilize, I chose ‘translation +rotation’. I did achieve success with one instance of stabilization, but only after an arbitrary setting I entered in the OTHER ‘stabilizer’ parameter (under Optical Flow) beyond the 5000 slider range to around 9000, I believe.

History, however, did not repeat itself. What I want to do is stabilize my clip to its last frame. I set a keyframe there and assigned the last frame number as revealed in the ‘Analyse’ slider but playback shows no evidence of stabilization.

In a nutshell: I have a clip, I need to stabilize it. How?

    Norman,

can you send me the original footage and the stabilized footage so I can better understand the problem?

You can upload the footage to yousendit.com and send it to mattm@borisfx.com.
