  ‘Text as Mask’ unable to change text

  I am using the BorixFX Grafiti plugin in Pinnacle Studio 12.

  I use the ‘Static -> Static Misc’ effect and then choose the effect on the right-hand side called ‘textMask.grf’.

  I’ve looked through everywhere in the Advanced Settings area in this plugin effect, but could not find any place to change the default text ‘TEXT AS MASK’ to my own text.

  Can you please tell me how I can provide my own masking text instead of the ‘TEXT AS MASK’?

  I have already looked through the forum here, but I could not find any answer to this question.

  Hi Charles,

  The top track in that setting is the Gradient media. Twirl this down (by clicking the triangle next to the name in the timeline) and you will see a track nested in the Mask track titled TEXT AS MASK. This is the text media track. Double click this and it will open the text editor, where you can edit this text. Once you have replaced the default text with the text that you want, close the text editor window and you should be good to go.
