Hello, i´m running BCC AVX 4.2.2 on my workstation with Avid Media Composer using a Nvidia Quadro FX 1400.

When I use an effect with OpenGL (Glare, Glint, etc) the fields of the video get messed up, I have read the manual and the cause of this is a card that doesn´t support OpenGL. But in the same manual my video card apears as a supported card to run these effects.

I´ve downloaded the latest drivers from NVidia (6.14.11.7604) and the problem remains.

    Can anyone help me please?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Ricardo,

I’ve noticed some unexpected results with BCC 4 in AVX 1.5 but when I promote the effect to AVX 2 the problem disappears and the effect appears as expected. Are you using AVX 1.5 or AVX 2.0? If you are using AVX 1.5 you might want to try promoting the effect to AVX 2.0.

Please let me know if this helps,

    Peter.

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the reply, I´ll try to promote the effects to AVX 2.0 and see if that resolves the problem.

I will get back to you with the results.

    Thank you once again,

    Ricardo Oliveira
