  • complete FX9 install needed if upgrading to Premiere CS3?

I’ve recently installed Premiere pro CS3 (entire creative suite production premium actually). My previous version (Premiere pro 2) worked just fine with my Boris FX 9 install.

For a while I plan to keep my earlier Premiere install. I’m hoping I do not need to uninstall/reinstall FX9 to get my FX9 to be “recognized” by my newer version of Premiere.

Can anyone suggest how to accomplish this?

Also, any know issues with Boris FX and Premiere CS3?

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi Tony,

Because it’s a new host, you’ll have to reinstall in order for FX 9 to be seen by CS3. You should make sure to download the latest installer from here http://www.borisfx.com/updates. You need Boris FX 9.2.1 for the CS3 host.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
