Hi all, I have Boris Continuum Complete Filters for FCP 6. Can anyone provide an explanation of the linear wipe filter? I am new to Boris and can’t make heads or tails of the manual.

I used the range selection tool to highlight the tail of the outgoing clip across the edit to the head of the incoming clip. I then added the linear wipe filter and checked manual. I had pct. done at 0 at the beginning of the selection, 50 at the edit point and 100 at the end. This doesn’t seem to work as the only one black half of the wipe appeared on the left hand of the screen. I tried auto and had no success with that.

Any help would be appreciated. Hope this isn’t too much of a newbie question. Thanks!
