  Loosing color information when importing eps

  Thanks in advance for the help. Here is the issue I am having. When I import an eps file, I am loosing all the color information, all my fills appear in black. I have tried to save my files in a legacy format with the same results. I have made this work before. I have read and reread my FX manual, followed all the steps. Now I left with banging my head into the wall.  I am working in Illustrator CS1 and trying to import into Avid FX. Thanks!

  Hi Matthew,

  Without having the file that you are importing in front of my it’s a little difficult to diagnose the problem however here are a couple of things to be aware of when importing EPS or .AI files into FX:
