RED 4 AVX in Avid Xpress Meridian.

Im rendering out a title with a fat transparent extrusion–sort of like the opening credits of Superman where they zoom into z space from behind the camera. It looks great in RED when I render out a single frame in high quality, but when I render on my Avid timeline it looks like draft quality (some extrusion facets are opaque others are completely transparent, no subtle opacities like when I see it in RED’s composite window. Any ideas?

    Hi,

If you send us your RED setting we will attempt to reproduce the issue in-house and hopefully will be able to offer a solution to the problem.

Please send a zipped copy of the effect setting to us at support@borisfx.com.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
