Any utilities or any way to do this?
It SURE would be a great addition to the product from Boris if
there isn’t a way to do it now.

    Thanks,
    Dan

Peter will correct me, but the last time I looked into it (5+ years ago), the cost of licensing dictionaries was too high to justify inclusion, especially for a free product.

Also, a significant part of the usage of Title 3D includes names, which are risky as well.

Have you tried the Spelling Module built into OS X? It’s at the bottom of the Edit menu. I haven’t tried using it with Title 3D, but you should check it out.

That’s free of course, but if you can spend $29, the best, best option is an app called Spell Catcher (nice name) that works in pretty much every app you’ve got on your computer, supports auto-completion, is easily customized, includes a thesaurus, etc. Comes with a free trial, too.

I don’t know if any Windows folks will read this, but it’s cross-platform too.

I cut and paste into TextEdit which has built in spell checking. Sometimes I compose my titles in TextEdit or MSWord and then paste into Boris.

You’re absolutely right Tim, and thanks for mentioning this.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

I should have mentioned that Word has always been my preferred method for spellchecking. 🙂
