I can’t get Red to preview my entire timeline, it stops about halfway through and then plays. Is there a setting that I should have to make it run through the entire timeline?

Make sure that you have enough RAM, and or reduce the preview quality.

Depending on version of RED there are several controls for preview to ram available to you. In RED 4 they are in the preference window under Preview tab.

    Mark,

Sigh.. figured that was it. Should I clear my cache before I log off, or does it automatically clear once I close the program?

    theBoris,

Thanks, I’m using Red 4 at home and very old AvidFX at work (wish they’d upgrade grrrr). I’m sure I just need more ram.

Sorry, I’m not really sure about the cache, but I would think that it would purge automatically.
