  green solid instead of video 1 in Red 4 plugin on FCP

  I am experienced with Red on Avid, but new to FCP so I might be doing something wrong here. I have all the latest updates installed.

  When I drop a RED effect on a clip in the timeline, park the play head over the clip, double-click on the clip to open it in Viewer, then open Boris plug-in, I get a solid green V1 track. Weird.

  However, when I park the play head anywhere else on the FCP timeline except the clip in question, I can see the video just fine in RED. But the problem then is that Boris loads the entire raw clip, not just the 5 seconds from the timeline. Am I doing something wrong here?

  Are you in RT Safe mode? RT Unlimited will cause this.
