  • Library Window Stuck Half Off Screen?

Posted by Kevin Jones on February 9, 2007 at 6:32 pm

    Hi!
I’m new to Boris, so this may be a simple fix for the more advanced users.
Everytime I launch Boris FX 9 from Final Cut Pro I find the library window is partially stuck off screen, upper left side. The other windows move fine but this window is unresponsive. I can’t access the different filters and transistions because they are off screen and I can’t drag the library window back on screen. Clicking the library browser button doesn’t seem to help.
Is there some way to fix this or to reset the window positions?
    Thanks!

Workspace-snap all home. Give this a try, I believe (I’m on a PC and don’t know macs anymore) that it is in the view menu.

No Boris FX 9 “View” Menu is showing.
Should Boris FX 9 have it’s own menu at the top of the screen as does every other program I run?
All I see displayed at the top of the screen is the Final Cut Pro Menu bar which is runing in the background.
    Weird!

Ah, FCP….sorry, but I don’t know it….wish I did, as most questions here semm to now pertain to using Boris with FCP….

Hopefully someone else can chime in.

I am tempted to say that Boris should have it’s own menus like other apps.
