I have never used this before, can’t get it to work. I have a horizon layer and a moon layer behind it with a glow applied to the moon. I want the light from the moon to spill over the horizon in a realistic way.

Hmmm … without actually seeing the clips it’s difficult to know whether the Liht Wrap filter would be suited for this task of not. If you would like to send me a single frame jpeg still of both the background and foreground elements I can take a look at it and offer some advise. You can send the images to me at peterm@borisfx.com.

Alternately you can duplicate the moon, then flip it, blur it and crop it to fit along the horizon edge.

FIY – Light Wrap was designed to spill the background layer over the edges of the foreground layers’ alpha so it might not be the best way to go with this project but as I mentioned, I’ll know better once I see the clips.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
