i’m looking for someone to spend a day or two in detroit to tutor myself and a few others in some finer points of continuum that are not obvious in the manual – which is a lot. i’m in detroit.

We have an Authorized training center in Detroit, Media Power. If you contact them, they could probably arrange something. Their website is https://www.media-power.com/

    anne,
unfortunately, these folks proved to be useless. i called them a year ago. they wanted to fill a class of people, which they couldn’t do. when i told them i would pay to have them conduct a workshop just for my company, they couldn’t comprehend that. a shame.

Many of our training centers will provide custom onsite training. You could try https://www.macspecialist.com in Chicago or https://www.fmctraining.com/ (they have multiple centers).

    Stewart-

It’s a shame to hear that, and it is not the first time I’ve heard a story like this. Unfortunately, there are training centers out there that are only concerned with the bottom line, making money. These facilities I’m talking about tend to charge a premium and only teach you where the buttons are without really emphasizing important issues like workflow, techniques and how the product will integrate into your digital pipeline.

There are very good facilities, too. The trick is finding one that is just as passionate to teach you as you are to learn. Anne Renehan, who responded to your post, is a good resource for training contacts.

    Regards,

    John
