  animated mask

  can you animate a spline shape and use it as an animated mask as you would in after effects. I can get the spline object animated, but as soon as I drop it into my video clip’s mask track, the animation goes away. Help please!

  I don’t have any problems doing what you explained. What version of RED are you working with? What platform are you on too?

  boris red 3gl on windows xp, using the red engine

  Is the fill track of your animated spine on? That’s the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.
