    Greetings,
I have to create an effect where it looks as though there is blood on the hands of a man who is punching someone. I masked an adjustment layer and keyframed it to follow the mans hand. When I did it in AE it looked great, but when I exported it, it didn’t follow the way it was supposed to. I ran into this same problem when I made a plug to make a gun barrel look hollow.
    Whats happening?

How doesn’t it follow? Does it jump around all over the screen or does it just seem to lag a little behind where it was supposed to be.
What are you rendering out to? interlaced or progressive media?
I have sometimes seen stuff that didn’t align properly when it was rendered out to an interlaced media.
The only solution I have come up with is to render it progressive, i.e. turn off field render in the render settings.
