    Hi

I’ve come across a weird problem with a project –

As you can see there is a bar of the original image that won’t be keyed out with the Color Range effect. OK… however the really confusing thing happens when I scrub the x value of the position property. The image moves relative to the bar but only until it reaches the edges of the image, then everything moves. It’s really hard to explain so here’s a link to the project –

I’m stumped and have had to find a work-around, but if anyone can solve this I would love to hear it.

    Cheers

    Hi Antony,

It’s not that bewildering. Your adjustment layer isn’t the same size as the comp, so it’s only affecting the part of the image that it covers.

Make you adjustment layer bigger and, if I’m reading your post correctly, your problem goes away. Shazam!

    Good luck with your project,
    Ben

    How embarrassing!

I was staring at the problem for 30 minutes and didn’t see it. This was an extract from a larger project and couldn’t see the wood for the trees. That’s my excuse anyway!

    Cheers

No worries. We’ve all been there :o)

    Glad you got it sorted.
