I have a subject in the footage that I masked and rotoscoped. I Duplicated the layer and made the background blur as my subject stays in focus but on the blurred layer the subject turns blurry of course but feathers out so that it kinda puts a burry halo around my focused subject which I really don’t want. Any Ideas on how to get this effects without the blurry halo? Thanx so much!

Hi you could use the lens blur effects and use the roto matte you created as the lens blur effect’s depth matte. You will need to precompose the matte in order for this to work as it should.
