Activity Forums Adobe After Effects morphing in AE?

    AE has an effect under Distort > Reshape that will allow you to move the pixels from one target mask to another ‘morphing’ the intermediate pixels. It will require the Reshape effect applied to both the source and destination footage of the morph and a crossfade (animating the opacities) between them.

    All in all it’s a bit complicated and doesn’t work great.

    Another solution is RE:Vision Effect’s RE:Flex. Which is easier to use and provides better results. I will say that it takes some time to get used to the way that it works, but once you do it’s fairly simple.
