A recent article on pro video coalition stated: “…every editor has the Creative Cloud, no matter what NLE you use, as we all use After Effects, and Photoshop in one form or another”. Is this true for those of you who edit, that everyone uses the Creative Cloud?

We use Adobe CC not just for AfterEffects and Photoshop, but for Audition, Illustrator, and Media Encoder. Since they all work seamlessly with each other, makes my job so much easier, all the tools in one bag so to speak.

Not everyone uses Premiere and After Effects, as there are very viable competitors, but I think you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t use Photoshop.

True, Blaise, as far as that goes, but I’ll bet you a donut they’re not all using CC versions of Photoshop.

I wouldn’t take that bet–I know how resistant to change this business is!

On a side note, for $10 a month, Photoshop is super stable, unlike the video side.
