Does anybody know of a quality stock footage website with reasonable prices. Iv’e checked out a lot of sites like Artbeats and I stockphoto and the prices are like $300 for a 15 sec clip. Thats pretty pricey.

A lot of those places have sliding scales, the final cost could be a lot lower than that by the time you work thru all the options like HD vs. sd, how long it will be used on air, or is it for off-air, etc…

But I have to say that those prices don’t sound all that outrageous to me, compared with the cost of shooting the exact same thing at the same quality, within your time frame. Convenience always has a cost. If the stock does what you need it to, and costs less than shooting your own, aren’t you ahead?

    Good day Jon,

Depending on what you are looking for, I use iStock a lot they have a good selection of clips and they range from SD to 1080i. The other site is Pond5, they have some good stuff as well.

It depends on what type of footage you are looking for. What are you looking for? A great stock footage library is Digital Juice’s Video Traxx. You get 700 HD clips for only $500. Check it out here: https://www.digitaljuice.com/products/products.asp?pid=914

Have you looked at Revostock? They have video clips and After Effects templates all at pretty good prices.
