  Managing digital video assets and workflow

  Hi,

  I was wondering what others use for managing their digital video assets and the workflow used to efficiently do so?

  Currently in our shop we have 3 Windows based systems (2 running Premiere Pro and 1 running Avid Express Pro). We just have a few external hard drives that get passed around to share projects. Now we’re looking to network the 3 systems and centralize the video storage. As part of this project we hope to look at the entire workflow, especially tagging all of our footage.

  Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
