    Hi list,

Would anyone know of a software or hardware solution to capturing multiple DVXs to a computer drive. I am trying to figure out a way to liveswitch three streams of DV from three DVXs in a studio situation and bypassing taping and capturing.

I’d love to hear any directio if anyone has travelled down this path.

    Many thanks,

    Kevin

Well, use a firewire based DV switcher then take it’s DV output (if they have one) to your computer or a portable Firestor hard drive pack? Typically I think what I’d do if pressed for time would be to live-switch but also run iso tapes in all the camcorders as backups. Then only import the master switched feed and as much of the iso takes as needeed to fix any mistakes from the live or to add enhancements.
