I am looking for a more secure way of others playing programing without having it easily copied. DVD certainly isn’t it.

I was considering buying a couple of small poratable media player like Medea’s G-player that has S-video and RCA analog audio outputs and a USB connector for managing the programs on it. Of course it would need some kind of physical lockout of the USB connector while it is with others or it would be even easier than a DVD to copy.

Has anyone heard of a lockable USB connector or a set of small dip swiches that could be installed inside the unit to invisibly disable the USB connector?

Assuming you can get admin rights to the machine, simply, xp, right click my computer, properties, harware, device manager, disable usb port(s) then lock out the users, control panel, users, limited accounts. this might work. if your going cracking the case, then unplug the port from the mobo
