    Hi All,

    Thinking about the JVGYHM170UA purchase.
I’m used to thinking in terms of CCD’s when thinking about cameras and low light capabilities.

Can anyone give me an idea on how to analyze these new cameras in terms of low light capabilities. Most events I do have light issues etc.., I mainly shoot training, speakers etc.., simple stuff.

I assume this camera working with FCX is a moot point since it shoots to cards etc.., I’ve never used a JVC so that’s why I’m asking.

    Thanks,
    Al

    Well I got it.
A bunch of cheap plastic .
Hardly any weight to it and it just feels really cheap.
Tryign to decide what to do and will shoot a function next week.
    Fortunately a 30 day return.

    That was quick.

Cameras that are 4k and have a 1/2″ sensor are going to have problems with lowlight. The Sony Z100 kicked this camera trend off. If you want to shoot 4k full auto in daylight or with ample indoor light, these cameras are good. Anything else is just chasing grain.
