    Hi All,

I am shooting with the Panasonic AG AC130 and a Canon XA10 and need to add a new video light. My old light from my PD150 days is a NRG 50w light that runs off those old large shoulder batteries. Are there LED lights out there under $200 that would do a good job without the need for the large shoulder battery or a battery belt?

    Thanks

I decided on 2 lights the Newer 160 and a low end Besor light. Will try them out this weekend at a wedding. At least I don’t have to lug around a shoulder battery.

Well both lights did a great job. The Newer160 (Also I think it is the Cowboy light as well) The 160 is sturdier then the Bescor. Both lights threw out ample light in a reception hall. One set of AA batteries in each light ran them with no problem for about 3-4 hrs each with no reload. What a great change from my old Bescor light and shoulder battery.
