i don’t know of a way to dissolve between cameras in the same comp. you can cut between them by adjusting the in and out points of the camera layers in the same comp.

you could duplicate your 3d comp, one copy for each camera. then remove (or hide) cameras within those comps to leave just one unique camera per comp. nest each of those comps in a new comp, then fade between the nested comps…

you may want to nest the 3d scene within the unique camera comps, that way if you need to make scene adjustments, you will only have to update one comp, otherwise you would need to make adjustments to each of the camera comps. enabling the collapse transformations option for the 3d scene layer within each camera comp will allow the scene comp to react correctly to the comp cameras.

did that make sense?? here’s a quick overview…

    1. select all the 3d layers for your scene and pre-comp them (you don’t need to open it yet) and enable the collapse transformations option for that nested 3d scene comp.

    2. duplicate the comp that now has your cameras and the nested scene comp so you have one for each camera.

    3. open each of those comps and hide all the cameras except one unique camera per comp.

    4. bring each of those comps into a single comp to composite the different camera shots.
