Hi, I have a customer who wants me to video a Texas Holdem Poker game and have a live feed to four 40″ HDV screens around twenty feet away from the poker table. I have never done this before so I was wondering if anyone knew of the best set up for this. I will be using a Sony FX1 and shooting in HDV.
    Thanks,
    Neil

Attach the composite cable that came with the camera and get some extensions to run it to a splitter box and then connect the HDTV’s to that. If you are running only one camera then keep it stationary on a tripod because if you don’t people watching on the HDTV’s will get sea sick watching it.

I don’t see how you’re going to do a good job on this with one, unswitched camera. Unless I’m missing something, I think what you need is a 4-camera switched feed to those monitors, essentially a multicam IMAG setup. You can rent them, but it will cost you.
