  Does anyone have any recommendations for sites with sound effects for download or any other resources that are free or paid?

  I have recently purchased Sound FX from Digital Juice. It is a royalty free library of 10,000 sound effects. It is pretty amazing. Normal retail price is $700.00 but they were offering a special last month of $250.00. Sony just released one very similar (Windows OS only) There are several web sites out there as well. “Google” it. You will find quite a few.

  I’m willing to bet that your public liberary has some sound FX CD’s that you can check out
