  Wedding Videography Contracts

  Greetings:

  I’ve been doing audio and music production for many years. I’m just now getting into video production. I’m using a Panasonic PV-DV953 3CCD camcorder and editing with Adobe Premiere Pro. I recently shot my niece’s wedding with the 953 and my old 8mm Sony for the wide shot. The wedding was great fun to shot and edit. Now another friend has asked me to shoot her wedding and I just got a call from a friend of my nieces who wants to actually pay me for this. Can anyone offer advice on where to get a standard wedding videographer contract….or if you have one you can send please do! Is this reasonable set-up to start marketing my services or do I need to spend thousands on better gear?

  I found a ton of sample contracts online just by Googling ‘Photography Contract’ which is very similar in many respects. You’ll have to find one that fits your needs, but it really depends entirely on what language you want to include.
