  Using masks to produce a reflection in a car’s side view mirror?

  I have video of my car in front of a green screen. My side view mirror is masked out in AE. How do I tell the mask to get pixel information from another spot in my “moving roads” background? As it is now, it looks as if there is no actual mirror, just a hole in the sideview mirror housing (the mirror caught the greenscreen). Instead, I want the mirror to behave realistically and display the reverse of a certain area in the background. Thanks for any help!

  Copy the mask and paste it on a copy of the desired road footage. Move the mask around until it’s where you want it. Place this footage layer over the car layer.
